Re: “Food Review: The Continental Westhampton”
Dear Leah and Kevin,
I'm really sorry you guys feel the way you do about my family and our establishments. We can't please everyone, although we do try our very best. Since my parents opened their first business back in 1990, the year they had me-they've always aimed to create environments and serve food that was affordable and accessible for most everyone. I'm sorry you've had bad experiences and aren't happy with most anything we do but, as a Richmonder and someone who supports businesses of all types- I hope that in the future, you would keep your critiques fair and hopefully, less malignant.
In my 22 years, I have seen my parents and grandparents give their sweat, blood and tears for Richmond. Furthermore, my grandmother Stella is still creating her wonderful food at 70 years old- so to say they only care about "branding" and "getting my name out there" is an illusion you've created in your head. I wish you guys the best, and hopefully we can all contribute to making Richmond a more enjoyable place to dine for all.
Best,
Constantine Giavos
