VCU deserves a world class logo. The previous "official" logo never captured the essence of our university so it was never fully embraced. To create a corporate identity properly you need to really understand the culture of an institution and I'm concerned this identity firm may not be able to harness the power and energy of our unique school. If VCU is the #1 graphic design school in the nation shouldn't it have the confidence to tap into that vast storehouse of talent?
