I have taken part in several of Patience's kindness projects and can tell you that they do much to transform the active participant (the kind-er, if you will), as well as the recipient (the kind-ee, of course). Seems like a few of the commenters here (anonymous, naturally) could use a little of either.
Don't believe, don't participate. But, for goodness sake, stop raining on other people's parades. It's ugly and says more about you than the parade.
