In order for Virginia, Central VA and RVA to grow there needs to be some agreement on 1st what direction we are going. There really isn't a way which such long term planning and strategy are addressed. The level of investment required to do the institutional & infraastructure change are massive. Maybe a mid-atlantic development entity is needed the acts as a conduit for VA,NC,MD & WVA investment. It's 2012, we no longer talking about cities against suburbs and state against state. We need to be working on development and change that will make the RVA and the mid-atlantic globally competitve and stop this territorial and infantile bickering between regional powers.
