Re: “Fashion Inaction”
VCU Student Affairs has a history of being somewhat heavy-handed in taking over student events when it is convenient for them to do so... and then erroneously blaming it on students for not scheduling it properly. They say that students don't follow the appropriate bureaucratic nonsense, when in reality the process for complex events like STRUT is not at all transparent and no one except those in the administration truly understand it. Kudos to the students involved in STRUT for continuing to press the administration to make the show a reality in the Fall. My advice: Get EVERYTHING in writing. Never have rely on an in-person conversation; always use email. Black-and-white proof what was said is the only things some people respond to.
