Re: “Fashion Inaction”
The fact of the matter isn't about the success of STRUT over the years because the numbers have never lied. The number of ticket sales for last years show was more than the year before, so that is a lie. And "VCU" you're right, STRUT is more than a fashion show. It combines the aspects of entertainment, student performance, and fashion. Comparing STRUT to the other shows is not the POINT.
STRUT is a student ran organization (unlike the juried show) thats put on by the students, organized by the students and PAID for by the students, and the ultimate let down was from the VCU ADMINISTRATION. The entire run around that the students faced could have all been avoided if clear communication was established in the beginning of the academic school year. VCU brags about their student leadership and diversity but practices none, in STRUTS' case.
