Mr. Sa'ad El-Amin thinks I, as a white person, fear strong, black males more
than anything else? He obviously has not met my strong, Asian female
wife!
Anyone who ate at Bill's Barbecue during the last ten years knows very well why they closed. First and last meal I had there had more fat and gristle than I could stomach. Check out the numerous helth code violations for just the North Blvd location - http://www.city-data.com/va-restaurants/Bi…
Upon checking out the "Supper" menu at the restaurant Lunch, patrons may be wise to walk those two extra blocks, or more, to and from this venue. : >
Re: “Hit, Run and Learn”
While a little off topic but related, there is a very big issue within our courts system of "wealthier" people being able to buy their way out of harsher fines and sentences by hiring an attorney. Mr. Webb had 20 moving violations, granted some were for expired registrations and such, including 7 for speeding, 3 for reckless driving (speeding 20+ over limit) and 1 for reckless driving. With all but one of these 11 citations he hired an attorney who convinced a judge to reduce the charges. One driving 77 in a 60 Highway Safety Corridor charge was reduced to "disregarding a highway sign". Unfortunately upon sentencing the jury would have only seen his record of conviction which makes him look like a careless driver instead of the reckless driver that he is. A person of modest means, unable to afford an attorney would have lost their license years ago. It is simple legalized bribery of judges through the hiring of attorneys. Should we really expect any more integrity other from a group that regulates themselves?
