Re: “Behind the Photo: Isuzu Pup and Chevy SSR

And thank you Virginia General Assembly for allowing the owner of that "antique" piece of shit to forego paying vehicle registration and inspection fees and to continue spewing nitrogen oxide and soot into our air.

Re: “Update: Ken Cuccinelli Nominated for Virginia Supreme Court

Virginia's own Donald Trump! Either this is the Virginia GOP's attempt to thwart another Cuccinelli run for governor or it is the Virginia Senate's idea of a joke in the face of the House in regards to their choice of Judge Alston. Sounds like a double dog dare to me!

Re: “Local Cycling Favorite Ben King Has His Eyes on the UCI Race Finale

Ditto. Ben's family and the USA cycling family should be very proud of Ben's accomplishments but Style Weekly needs to hire a fact checker or at least refer to Wikipedia! One Junior Road National Championship, one Junior TT National Championship, one U23 Road National Championship and one Professional Road National Championship. And Style Weekly Peter Sagan (Sep 22, 2015 Corrections) has never won the Tour de France. He had his first Tour de France stage wins (3) in 2012 and also won the green Best Sprinter jersey. Cycling aficionados are freaks about facts.

Re: “Vantage Points: The Best Places in Richmond to Watch the Bike Race

No mention of the Women's Individual Time Trial. What's up with that?

Re: “Street Cred: With the Eyes of the World Upon Us, Has Richmond Finally Achieved Bike-Town Status?

Richmond can earn more Street Cred if we can keep to ten or less the number of cyclists & pedestrians struck by narrow-eyed Richmond area drivers over this awesome ten-day event! I fear that our worldly visitors may be under the mistaken principle that drivers of vehicles in the USA may actually yield to their soft bodies.

Re: “Squirming Senators

As I commented on the piece referencing Richmond City Councilman Parker Agelasto's statement that he is fine with accepting gifts as long as he reports them, this is just another example of what is wrong with the United States' standard of accepted govermental influence peddling. Why on earth - including the U.S. - would a corporation or an individual provide cash, gifts, meals, favors, etc., to a governmental official unless said corporation or individual expects something in return? The accepted Virginia practice of "it's okay to accept gifts as long as they are reported" is a load of lawyer-esk crap!
