Flavor of the month syndrome in Rmond. Chip manufacturing, no, Centerstage (so where are all those projected full time jobs?), no, canal walk, no, sports, no, civil war tourism........ Every year we get a new big idea, hundreds of thousands are spent on consultants, out of town trips, and still, no savior.
Schools in great condition would be nice.

This is what happens to local not for profits when an out of town, stock price driven, global corporation manages a community facility. The rents get higher, surcharges get tacked on to every service and piece of equipment used, and philanthropy cannot bridge the gap.

27 percent approval rate yet he gets 60+% of the vote. Why won't an elected Democrat run against this guy? No disrespect to Wayne Powell, but Cooter ran against him with zero experience or backing.
The Dems in his district need to start now and find an electable candidate.
