Re: “Willow’s Return”
I enjoyed Saturday bicycle trips from Farmington to Willow Lawn in the early 60s. For the far suburbs, it was our downtown. Scout uniforms from Penneys, that pair of real Clarks desert boots in the store window I never got, ice cream and other goodies. I was weekend watchman during RPI years at the old Fidelity Building across the street, and would watch the ebb and flow at night from the rooftop.
