Re: “Autopsy on Gwar Guitarist Inconclusive”
I have to agree with the other few about giving his widowed wife money, I was a musician for a while and know members of underground bands and they sure as hell are not getting rich, they are doing it for the love of music and the fans that want to hear them and see them live. People don't realize that if a band sells a million records they only make about 50 cents for each album sold, GWAR has a lot of personnel working for them to do the live shows they do, so you do the math. That is why T-Shirts and other memorabilia is so high, the bands have to pay for it out of their pockets and that is there base income while on the road, that is why every concert I have ever been to I always by a shirt, because sometimes that makes the difference rather they get to eat at Red Lobster or Waffle House. So stop bitching about them asking for financial help for his wife, and realize that a lot of bands (not sure about the members of GWAR) but a lot of them also have day jobs when not touring.
