Re: “Mama J's Kitchen”
I had lunch at Mama J's this week...and what a great lunch it was. The chicken and dumplings were "Smack your momma" good!! And it was a full plate of goodness with two perfect corn muffins on the side...all quite tasty. And, it is such a happy place...the staff speaks of the food with reverence and the other customers are all smiles. I was disappointed that they were out of their coconut cake, but I left with a slice of carrot cake and slice of lemon-strawberry infusion cake. It took my husband and I two hours to finish the huge slices that evening...and they were beyond outstanding!! What a great place to have in Richmond...I love you, Mama J's!!
