No one knows what Jorge's means Jack, but it's provocative!
Well it's a practical use of the lot and glad to see this project moving. The last rendering I saw had a monument build into the corner of the building (is there a final rendering anywhere?) and with it including a conference center and hotel it's both a historical and functional part of Shockoe Slip. These are practical times so I applaud the practicality of this project even though a $19 million, 300 foot island pyramid shooting colored light into the sky would have won on WOW factor points, but would have chewed up tax dollars to maintain rather than actually produced tax dollars for the city like a 210 room hotel does.
Winner! Perfect use for this building and great for Richmond's rapidly growing indy film makers who will finally have real local screening rooms rather than youtube, a lap top and a living room. Also glad to see the "restaurant space available" sign finally gone after 4 years.
We need to change your license plates Trevor now that you're officially here and not just visiting every day.
Not sure being called a "known scoundrel", "promiscuous homosexual" and being accused of killing Poe with an STD in the media is sucking up or good for business. Fortunately I have a good since of humor and my parents don't generally read Style Weekly so I'm ok with it. We'll see how his new boss Melissa Chase handles him
Ha ha, nice one Jack! I've just increased my quoted of gay jokes on Monday nights toward you and Dustin 10 fold
Re: “Is Boulevard the Next Short Pump?”
Interesting. Would definitely be an ideal use, hopefully it will be mixed use development more appropriate for an urban setting rather that acres of asphalt and big boxes like in the 'burbs.
