For February First Friday, noted art6 musicians Kate Watts (flute) and Janine Turner (frame drum) will perform during the opening reception of NOIR, the new exhibition of prints, drawings, and photographs featuring Henrietta Near, Lloyd C. Music by My Son The Doctor, complimentary champagne at midnight, two gallery shows on view: TRIBAL and GLIMPSES, silent auction of paintings created LIVE during the evening by Eugene Vango and costumes donated by Suguna Pai of Malabar Restaurant. Door Prizes and dancing! Say goodbye to auld lang syne and celebrate the New Year at art6! Happy…New Year 2012!!!

Juniper Green will play for First Friday, January 6, 2012 at the opening reception of the all-collage exhibit in celebration of 100 years of collage as a fine art. 5 - 9 pm. Free and open to the public. 6 East Broad Street.

November is full of exciting art & events at the gallery! My Son The Doctor performs for First Fridays on 11/4, poetry night 11/11, NoFacePerformance group presents a brand new/original work (more info to come!) 11/13, and the Quux Ensemble performs 11/19! Keep an eye out for event invites and more information on our stellar installation & performances!
