Business as usual at Richmond City Hall. Who will be the first to fall?

Re: “The Great Escape

So this is why RPD has been instructed not to bring drunks to the city jail anymore. There must be a better way. Getting rid of the drunk tank and non-violent offenders are the hard core felons next?

Re: “City Aims for Safer Carytown

Pedestrian right of way does not include blindly stepping out in front of cars daily.

Re: “Something Squirrelly in Redskins Deal?

The same thing that happens at RIR during a racing event will happen here. Every Tom, Dick & Harry that owns land close by will offer parking at ridiculous prices. Parking will be a terrible for three weeks every summer. I can't wait to see how Jane Ferrara gets out of this one. I knew from her presentation at the SMV to the residents of the area that she was just a yes person. Add her to the list of people you can't trust in City Hall. All I have to do now is figure out how many vehicles I can get into my lot.

Re: “City Pays for Mayor’s Luxury Big Apple Stay

He deserved to stay in New Jersey. Excuses don't make it right. I travel for business frequently and I could never look in the mirror in the morning if my clients had to pay that kind of money. As a citizen and taxpayer I am outraged.

Re: “More to Treegate: No One Mentions $15 Million Exhibits?

There has been talk for years about this project. One particular discussion was the Aviation Museum was moving to the property. So much for that idea now.

Re: “Is Clock Ticking for Chief Norwood?

Richmond needs a cop's cop to run the police department. Someone who has walked in the shoes of a police officer. The only way an officer can lead is to have been led them self. Our brave officers need better equipment, let's start with patrol cars many are old and need replacing. New paint and decals would not be a bad idea either. Put more officers on the street by getting them from out behind the desk. Replacing the chief of police is only the first step of many things to be done.
