Ms. Rawlings hit the nail on the head: A coffee shop is not a public library and you should not use it as such.
Yeesh--the picture quality excellent, but the gentleman on the right looks like he's telling the photographer to get out.
This guy is really unique--his tumblr and Dirty Richmond's piece about his Cowboy Prince-ing ways were really interesting. I may not "get" it entirely, but if someone gets them self, then Godspeed, have fun!
Domesticated bees. Sounds like they're going to crawl on my lap or shit in my shoes.
As if Richmond couldn't look asinine enough, someone's stolen a piece of the art??? This is beyond ridiculous. Richmond, you are disappointing me so much.
Also worth noting, other similar groups have held their conventions at the Omni not a year ago. I think it might have been the Daughters of the Confederacy.
Looks like it's the SCV that has the issue, not Richmond's ability to welcome historical and genealogical enthusiasts.
Re: “Richmond City Council Passes Bike Restrictions, Cyclists Protest”
Well I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I think the solution is pretty clear: The City's right, bikes should not be chained to trees--it IS bad for them (nice editorializing Ned, lol). But Richmond has yet to become a bike-friendly city. So the solution is either become more bike friendly by offering more bike racks and encouraging businesses, large property owners, and the State to do the same, OR accept that people will chain their bikes to parking meters, sign posts, and fences.
