Really love this weekly, but so disappointed in 1849 reference to Edgar Allen Poe's death part of an "alcoholic haze". The exact cause of his death has not been determined and remains a mystery. Recent studies of his hospital record now suggest, he died of rabies from a bite from one of the many animals he kept. He had every reason to escape the devil drink then, he was engaged, starting a new business venture and had NOT being drinking for awhile, mystery may never be solved but i really hate seeing this lack of research...
