Oh, please. After growing up in Richmond, Henrico, Staunton and Tri-Cities, I thought the same thing what DeCosta felt -- then I lived in DC for 10 yrs, interned in Los Angeles for 6 months, lived in Philadelphia for 9 months and last, lived in Manhattan (That is, New York City if you don't know it!) -- I learned the hard lessons -- suburbs should be wiped out -- it is a cancer upon the city-rural system. Richmond is being ripped apart by two counties and he feels it is OK?
What an idiot prick.

Never met Mookie myself but I do love stray cats. This article made me sad ... I'm grateful for having many wonderful moments with my deceased cats as well as two current female cats, Herpes & Blacklist. Yeah, I call 'em Herpes & Blacklist -- You can thanks to the film, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert for giving me the ideas to name my cats. Won't trade it for anyone else, though. RIP, Mookie!

My mother adored her -- she was thrilled to meet her at the State Fair of Virginia and the Lady Luck was very professional and cordial -- I think the Va Lottery is fortunate to have her all along for the ride.
