Jones as governor? Lord please no! I can't think of a worse candidate for governor given Jones' horrid performance as mayor of our fair city. God only knows what we would end up with if he was running the state.

Ummm, Ladyday, apparently no, she's not kidding. In all experiences with William (of which I have had many) he has been delightful. Dramatic and condescending? Laughable! My guess is one of two possible things:
1. You're a very poor tipper.
2. You're a bitch.

Regardless of the fact that the city has a large group of planners on staff, that's what the city does...they perfer to hire outside consultants rather than use their existing staff.

How many times did you support Dixie Chicken? Just curious...
I happen to live in Forest Hill and have personally been probably 30-40 times since they opened. Not just buying a piec of chicken but 20-30 worth of food most times. I personally know quite a few of my neighbors who also visited regularly. It's not the fault of the neighborhood. I feel there were several factors at play here. First the strange hours at first when they opened, second the location was a bit odd and had little parking, third they really didn't do any advertising, forth they were only take out...no dine in options at all. The food was delicious and always fresh. I hope they try to make a go of it with another better situated location. I'm really going to miss the Saturday morning biscuits!
