Re: “Cow Consciousness

I've never been to Boom Boom. We have so many farmers in our area. With gas prices going up and up every second of the day, we need to support our local farmers. This way, you're not paying fuel surcharge that's added to "grocery" store foods. I can say, our family has been ONE YEAR with NO industrial meat! Thanks to Deer Run Farm in Amelia, we have come to LOVE our Grass Fed Beef and they have TRUE, free roaming chickens! The chickens are yellow, unlike the white chickens you find at industrial grocery stores, no peroxide sprayed on these chickens. And the eggs produced by these happy chickens are to die for! Starting May 7, you can find Deer Run Farm at South of the James Farmers Market (Forest Hill Park), by far the largest Farmers Market in Richmond. They will also be at the St. Stephens Church Farmers Market, located at Grove Ave.
