Re: “Burning Down the House”
I, Thomas E. Nowlin, hereby declare that I will not support The Firehouse Theatre Project in any way until the original art maker, Carol Androski Piersol is reinstated as Founding Artistic Director, and this situation is resolved to her and the Richmond theatre community's satisfaction. I will not make art, attend events or donate to this company until this occurs.
I urge all artists, arts patrons and supporters to review “The Timeline” posted on Facebook (see link below), which outlines the events of this situation as they have transpired to date. If after weighing the facts you agree that an egregious wrong was done to Carol Piersol by the Firehouse Theatre Project Board in forcing her retirement from FTP in the manner it was accomplished and if you would like to see the Firehouse Theatre Project returned to its former artistic state, please pledge your support of this cause by posting your own declaration on your Facebook wall.
