Honaker is wonderful whether on the stage in a play or a musical. A real gem! A true treat for audiences.
Yay for Susan! Not only is she a great singer/songwriter but she generously donates so much of her talent and time to so many good causes. Page Wilson must be smiling!
Sorry folks but Ronnies on Main Street near Millies blows the competition away. Truly the best!
Yay for Susan! Not only does she have a wonderful voice and is a great songwriter/performer but she donates so much of her time for so many good causes throughout the region. Richmond is fortunate to have her in the area! I bet Page Wilson is smiling at this pick!
Honaker is simply wonderful in whatever show she is in. A true gem! When she is on stage, the audience is always in for a treat.
Re: “Gathering Steam”
A. "Southbound trains aren't delayed at Union Station while Amtrak detaches passenger cars and crowds riders into remaining cars." That is a bit of a red herring because there is still an annoying 30-45 minute wait while Amtrak switches from electric to diesel engines at Union Station when heading south to Richmond.
B. What is really worth an entire article to itself is the deplorable parking situation at Staples Mill Road Station. It is wonderful that people are riding the trains again and that they are filling up. But a couple weeks ago, cars were parked along median and grass strips as there were no spaces. There is no way an emergency vehicle could have made it through some areas. The alternative is to park at the Glenside Park and Ride which is laughable if you have luggage to tote. And there are no sideways between the Park and Ride and the train station, a good 10 minute walk without luggage. A shuttle would be nice.
