Why has the "calendar" for nightlife been discontinued? Calendar looks more like a "blog" now. Used to be able to find what was going on in Richmond and surrounding areas in the calendar section. It's not a good idea to ask peoples opinion of and event. You'll have more worthless information than you already have. According to your calendar last sat night there were only two local bands playing in Richmond and they were mixed with Fri., Sat., Sun. why yu do this?

...when you "own into" or are partners with so many bars/restaurant it's hard to have any consistency. These local owner/operators DO make their establishments look like "hobbies". They need to focus more on flavor, quality and consistency and less on trendiness and braggart "how many shops i own".

My daughters and I found Islands to be a very enjoyable value. Although typical greek fare, they provided freshly prepared greek and italian dishes in a clean family style atmosphere. An experienced diner would have noticed the difference in the top quality ingredients in their recipes and attention to preparation that go into their meals. Service was attentive and much more polite than staff i encounter at quote higher level dining establishments. I go once a month so let me know when you want an accurate revue of this one.
