Richmond may be experiencing an arts renaissance but you won't find many of its guiding lights on this list. But Pam Reynolds is a high-profile arts leader who gets her phone calls answered. As the public face and chairman of the trustees of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Reynolds oversaw the most successful private fundraising campaign in local memory; so much so that no one held the more than $50 million in cost overruns against her. The result: Richmond has a world-class museum that also functions as a prime public space.
