CarMax CEO

Richmond is littered with the corpses of companies taken down by shifting markets and poor management. But CarMax has weathered the recession like a champ. As a former basketball star in college, he does give, though. The CarMax Foundation has donated $500,000 to update and install new basketball courts at the Pine Camp Arts and Community Center in Richmond.
