The Next Richmonder of the Year

In five weeks, Style Weekly will reveal its 20th Richmonder of the Year — the person who made the most significant impact on the city in 2005.

But we'd like to know what you think, too. When you look back on the year, who's consistently captured your attention? Who's intrigued you? Impressed you? Frustrated you? Who's dominated your conversations and debates?

We're looking for your ideas about the people who have influenced any significant area of life in Richmond — art, crime, politics, education, economics, health, philanthropy, neighborhood development and more.

Does anyone come to mind, good or bad? Who and why? Send us your thoughts, in 100 words or fewer. Tell us who you think should be the Richmonder of the Year. Your opinions could be published in a future issue. Write to Richmonder of the Year, Style Weekly, 1707 Summit Ave., Suite 201, Richmond, VA 23230. Or e-mail us at letters@styleweekly.com. Please include your name and daytime telephone number.
