13. Attorney General Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II

Cuccinelli may not always win, but he sure likes a good fight. The title bout is his challenge to the constitutionality of the national health care act; a federal appeals court is about to issue a decision. Some like to paint “the Cooch” as a little out there, but at least one fellow Power Lister warns against miscalculating him. “I think he’s a real talent that people underestimate at their own peril,” the insider says. We’re wondering about Cuccinelli’s next move: Will he challenge Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling for governor (and burn some party bridges)? Or bide his time and take a run at four more years as attorney general?
