The Score

+7 Richmonders ring in the new year at bars, hotels and house parties across the city. We've been flipping through the pics on all these lost cell phones, and from the looks of things you guys went wild.

-4 A thief breaks into Carytown Burger and Fries, stealing a laptop, register and safe, and making a getaway in the restaurant's logo-emblazoned Land Rover. Hamburglar has really escalated his M.O.

+1 Former ad agency exec and hair stylist Daviece Clement throws a party at Balliceaux complete with a vodka sponsor to kick off her year of 54 dates to find a mate. We're not sure how she's coming along, but some dude proposed to the vodka bottle.

-5 Richmond loses a music venue with the closing of Kingdom in Shockoe Bottom, which thanked supporters on Facebook and wrote, "It's been rad." See? If we'd only had a baseball stadium down there, none of this would have happened.

+2 Sophia Nadder, an 11-year-old from Midlothian who's performed at Flying Squirrels and VCU basketball games, is tapped to sing the National Anthem for Gov.-elect Terry McAuliffe's inaugural. Oh, say, can she sing!
