Former Gov. Jim "No Car Tax" Gilmore is chosen to lead the consulting group Coalition for Innovative Transportation Solutions. After all, look at the wonderful things Gilmore did for Virginia's roads.

Chesterfield's Board of Supervisors decides against renaming Iron Bridge Park for a local Marine killed in battle, instead naming it after retired Supervisor Harry Daniel. Other names considered: Politician Park, Old Crony Campgrounds and the Friends-in-High-Places Village Green.
