We are untouched no more, as swine flu officially reaches Virginia, along with a Virginia swine flu hotline and endless media stories. Even a race team: the Swine Flu no. 52 car came in 19th this weekend at RIR.


Speaking of NASCAR, Kyle Busch wins the Crown Royal 400 on his 24th birthday. Just another year and his auto insurance will drop to $1.5 million.


Ousted Virginia GOP chairman Jeff Frederick says he won't run again, but he'd like his supporters to oppose any candidates chosen by the party's central committee. And also, TP their houses. And also, totally don't invite them to your pool party this Friday.

With a budget of about $50,000, Richmond Public Schools launches a public-relations campaign to increase enrollment in city schools. So, keep an eye out for print, radio and TV ads with low graduation rates.
