TaZa Coffee opens in Westover Hills. Note the bakers.

Posted By on Wed, Oct 6, 2010 at 4:00 AM

In a stroke of astute marketing, the folks at TaZa Coffee n CrA"me have created a one-stop shop for some of the city's best java, pastries, bagels and sweets -- the ones with a cult following.
Customers to the new business upstairs at 5047 Forest Hill Ave. can find guava, coconut and mango pastries from La Sabrosita Bakery, bagels from Cupertino's, Blanchard's coffees, ice cream in exotic flavor combos from La Michoacana, and handcrafted chocolates from Kelly Walker, including s'mores bars and truffles.

There's space for about a dozen to sit or work in the low-key hideaway.Commuters can get their orders delivered to the car starting next week. The business serves from 6:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily except Sunday. 233-8646. See next week's Style for a view inside.
